I went south last week to race El Paso / Cruces but truck overheated 35 miles from Cruces. I would like to say thank you to my fellow competitors who stopped to help me, Dave Burns, Steve Spiak, Rusty Martinelli, Cardenas's, Bobby Jackson, and even a couple of Late Model racers that were headed to the lake since they weren't scheduled to race. Special thanks the Royal Jones and his Mechanics at Border International and MVT. Royal got my truck into Las Cruces and my trailer to the races both nights. Bryan and his dad from MVT even offerd to help pit for me as did the West family. Border International had my truck repaired and I was able to pick it up yesterday. To Royal and all who helped, thank you so much, it won't be forgotten.
