Amarillo results...

Usual full house,track went dry early from strong winds that never really quit.
Only 130 cars lol.(street stocks only had 14 cars usually 25 or so)
Saw lots of Abq. People.
July 27th...$5000.00 to win 305 sprint car show.
They should pull a ton of cars for that.
Heard all div. Will be running that night(mods,sport mods etc.).
...if that's the case,should be a great show.

Forgot to mention...
I made it home after the races in Amarillo,
About the same time a buddy of mine made it home from watching the races in grants...2:30ish.

Yeah,those new Jimmy Owens cars are really nice(pricey too).
The Gallardos are running them as well.
Cool thing is...
Stormy won using J.R Baxters(Baxterbuilt) shocks.
Two local racersmaking an impact in a National racing series is neat...

No Abq. Based cars...
2 New Mexico cars...Jimmy Ray from Cruces&Mark Myers from Clovis.
Might of been one of the better mod fields I've seen...in a long time.
Top 2 in each heat go to the main,everyone else relegated to a B.
3 B mains,
Winners..
Johnny Scott
Jason Hughes(former USMTS champion)
Rodney Sanders(current USMTS point leader&on his home track).
Jimmy Ray ran 11th out of 14 in his B.
....crazy tough field.

I'm not certain sir how many ALB folks ran in Amarillo.

But, we should ALL WORK as a group to "Bump" that number up at NAPA Speedway

Please continue to Build the Facility!
