So, J.R.(Bonesteel) has pretty much kicked our azze's now for 4 weeks in a row in the X mods. ...(really wish I hadn't sold him that TRE) I'm thinkin' it's time for a bounty...raise the purse&see who we can get to show up. I'll put up an extra $50.00 to anyone that can outrun him.(Gotta actually beat him,can't take him out.)
July 13 is our next show,AND it just so happens that Las Cruces isn't running X mods that night. Aztec is dark as well(SSM'S) We have 2 weeks to see how much we can get in order get some bounty hunters here,in addition to our own guys getting an added incentive I think Fegan should add an extra $50/$100.00(you'll more than make it up w/the extra cars) Maybe super fan all around good guy Danny Romero@ ACTION ALIGNMENT might wanna continue his giving ways.. We get this sucker up to $400/$500(or more) to win,and guarantee we'll get some hitters. Maybe pull the Gorham's,Carney's or other southern X's. If the Northern SSM's wanna try & show they're stuff...even better. I think it would be fun,we could draw a ton a cars,and the fans would dig it. Heck maybe even the ol' mud bus hater himself Truman would wanna pitch in...

Back when I was promoting Aztec, we did this same thing for Johnny Herrera, frew a TON of cars from all over the country. We pulled 37 410 Sprint Cars from all over and the crowd was packed full! Was a great race as Ben Gregg from AZ almost beat him but in the end Johnny was bad fast that night and took home the extra money himself. I think you have a great idea Mychal! Last year,I went to Amarillo for the Topless modified 5k to win show.Local hero Dee Gossett was scheduled to start the feature in the front row.Someone put up $1000.00 if he'd go to the back&then won.It grew to $5k...just from fans pitching in. ...it was crazy,he went to the back&made it up to 3rd before his tires went away. The place was GOING OFF,with every car he passed. I've never seen anything like it...it was electric. I'm thinking...we can do the same thing here. Maybe offer a bonus if J.R. starts scratch... In the end.... The fans win. People will talk about this...for a long time. It's good for racing. ....thanks again,to those who have already stepped up. Gonna be fun.
Tartan construction(Kevin Mcdonald)....has offered $50.00 tow money to any out of towners(outside 100 mile radius). If Fegan...will match it in the purse. ...this could be good.
James...thanks..that's awesome. As of right now... Bounty is $500.00 to win. Kevin McDonald (TARTAN CONSTRUCTION) has stepped up big time. He's earmarked $500.00 in tow money for out of town cars. Cool thing is...if 10 outa towners don't show...the balance goes,into the bounty. We're just waiting to hear from Fegan,to see if he'll add/match. Regardless...it's gone beyond what I'd anticipated.
