This weekend @NAPA speedway... We're gonna tee it up again and do the bounty on Bonesteel thing. The Bounty as it now stands is $800.00 to anyone who can outrun J.R. Our most recent contribution comes from 3G flooring,Johnny Gutierrez,who's opted back in after posting $100.00 the first go round...THANK YOU! Kevin& I decided that if there is no complete tech,then we can't justify paying someone the bounty without knowing they were legit.(more on this to follow). So...this weekend should be interesting. The Cruces X mods are racing Sat. so the local X mods ALL have a clear shot at some major jack,if they can outrun the '0' car... ...gonna be interesting,might wanna be there.
Mychal, I will be at the track teching sprint cars this week so I might be interested in helping tech the xmods if you are needing some one, let me know because I have no dog in this fight so it doesnt matter to me who wins, I just like seeing good racing. Jerry Higginbotham
Jerry that's awesome...thank you! It's funny,we've gotten more support from sprint car people(you/Truman) than A mod people...had a guy go full on "hater" after I asked him if he wanted to help(go figure,huh). We're working on how to do this right,and not piss any track personal off. X mod tech...since Fegan did away with someone who was really trying, been a joke,virtually non existent. We need to fix...that. Thanks again...racers helping racers,good stuff.

Shoulda known you'd step up...uh-gain' Thanks Truman...it's appreciated. Several people I think wishing he'd do the ambassador thing in another class... Wish we'd of represented better in Cruces couple weeks ago,found out 15 lbs.of unristricted fuel pressure in a stock 500cfm Holley..Not to Bueno. Live&learn. Also, apperently,there's been some interest from up north about the Aztec southern sport mods wanting to come down & dance.(they're dark next week) Love to have them...but they will be teched per thier rules. I've been going over the imca rules this week... So that nobody decides to drop an A mod bullet in for the show. ...again,thank you to everyone who's contributed to the bounty.
Hey Brandon... As far as I know,there's $20.00 track licence(I think). Pit pass...for driver $35.00 crew $25.00 Races start@ 6:30. Pit meeting@5:00 Couple things... You'll be teched per imca rules...comp.ratio,vacuum etc. Stay legal. Don't let Chad talk you into stuffing his late model motor in for the bounty..lol.(tell him there won't be any of those meanie southern racers either,so he'll come down as well).

Your brother's a good guy... He doesn't cheat...it's known as "rule interpretation". Glad you guys are coming,you'll have fun. Great group of guys in this class...everybody helps everybody. It's a cool deal. Btw, The old we ain't gotta prayer ploy...not gonna work. ...I've seen more than my share of southern sport mod races, those things are fast,really fast.Certain car copier/builder already said his SSM kicked X mod butt first practice of the year at NAPA.(josh's A mod too lol.) Not to mention...your car's a WHOLE lot newer than our old stuff...gonna be a good time.
