On behalf of T.R.E. Promotions, I am very excited to announce the Grand Marshall for the 2013 Riverside Auto & Diesel I-40 Showdown. The Grand Marshall at each of our events is our honored guest for the weekend. They will receive a welcome package and get to wave the opening green flag to kick off the festivities. This years winner is an inspiration to all those who have ever faced adversity. He spends his weekends at the race track with his family, and free time in the race shop. This year, we have chosen our youngest ever honored Grand Marshall.... Witten Carey from Bloomfield, NM! Please welcome his mother Maygen Carey and father Steffan Carey as their family joins us for the two day event September 27-28th at Uranium Capitol Speedway benefiting Wittens Warriors! Tre, you remind me of Promoters we see at the Big tracks like Devil's Bowl or Eldora! And in a town like Grants no less, I remember what Grants was like before the Mines closed, they had close to 20,000 people back in the 70's! Not sure how many live there now, but it is a shade of what it used to be. So to be able to put on Quality racing in a small town like Grants is a Tremendous feat!
Thanks Joe, its been a lot of work and I have a TON more to go, but the support from the Grants/Milan community has been tremendous!!! It takes more than just me to put this on and the UCS board has also been behind me 100%! This year I brought in a head judge, and a head of tech to handle things of that sort so that I can promote and make sure everyone is having fun.... by the way... the second night we will be giving away two tickets to the November NASCAR race!!! Tickets are on sale now for $2 whilw they last. All proceeds will also go to Wittens Warriors People are pretty darn excited about this one. Id reccommend getting there early... ya never know what surprised I may have in store for those who show up early email: tbrewbaker@hotmail.com
