We are excited to announce Tartan Construction as one of our major sponsors for the Riverside Auto & Diesel Showdown benefiting Witten's Warriors! With this great news we are now able to pay the Four Corners Health Care X-Mods $750 to win on Friday and $1000 to win on Sunday!!!! All drivers starting the A-feature will get paid!!!

We will have insurance!!!!

You will not want to miss this one!!! Already have 18 drivers preregistered for the 2-day event!!! Save money and preregister by September 7th!!!! Ill even meet you somewhere in town if needed!!! Let me know what "I" can do for "YOU"!!!

Don't forget the Red Lion Hotel in Grants has signed on as our host hotel for the weekend, just mention that you are coming for the races to get the discounted rate! They have also donated a steak dinner to one driver in each division! Gotta be there Friday to win it!!!

Friday will also be Fan and Military Appreciation Night! All tickets in the grandstands are only $5.00 !!!!! Military get in FREE!!!!!

Points vs. Payout...

This deal now boils down to Points(NAPA) vs.Payout(Grants) on the 27th.
Kevin told me he was gonna go ALL in&help you.lol
Putting up $750.00 on friday should persuade additional ABQ.& Cruces cars to be there...
I've looked and can't find a complete purse breakdown,
Is it gonna be Dolly Parton...everything up top,
Or,
Sandra Bullock...nicely proportioned...
Be nice to know.
You might wanna post this info on the Cruces website,as well as get the word out to the Arizona X mod contingent.
Tucson& Casa Grande are both pulling 16-20 X's per show.
Tucson has a big 2 day X mod show labor day weekend...you should send someone& have them pass out flyers.
You do an amazing job of getting people&sponsors on board..and getting lots of cars to attend your big shows in Grants...
That being said...
The standing joke is this deal's gonna be a 3 day show.
Start late friday run into early Sat.
Start late Saturday run into the early hours of Sunday.
...your last big show,we watched the sun come up over the Sandia's on our way home after the races...major BUZZKILL
Instead of lawn mower races& 2 hour intermissions(your specialty) giving away everything from bikes to balls of lint...just run a Quick efficient program and focus on the racing.
That place can produce great racing...just work on that aspect.
...you might just get more people&racers to come back if you get everyone out at a decent hour.

Gonna be interesting to see how and if NAPA responds...because this deal's really gonna cut into their field of X mods.
With the 2 day total of $1750..00 to win,and insurance,you should pull A LOT of X mods...if you get the word out.

Gotta agree, the last 2-3 times at Grants, great racing, good track....hour long to 90 Min. Intermission!

Mychal, you are absolutely correct, on all accounts. I have made those adjustments from the last show, we are starting earlier, no dashes, just heats and mains. the gokarts and lawnmowers are pre-race festivities that will go on prior to the announced start times. Intermission will only consist of a go-kart trophy presentation on Saturday night. I brought a tech team in that i can let do their thing, a head official so that I can promote and make sure the show flows smoothly. working on going to aztec this weekend myself to see thier drivers etc as well. The giveaways are going to be done a little differently as well, but i have yet to finalize that yet. Been communicating with the drivers in the area online quite a bit, I try and avoid posting on SNMS website about the show since it is against thier show and while I would love to get some of thier cars, I try to be respectful of what Royal and crew has going down there as well. But I have been working alternate forms of communication as to make sure they are invited and welcome. Already have 3-5 from down south and about the same from Aztec coming down. Thanks for being at the show a couple years ago... I think you will be pleasantly surprised how prepared this one is! Already made arrangements myself with EMTs and fire as well so we are good to go thier, and as you already noted... I always have insurance on any race I promote! With the purse ever changing, its a mix of the two, last place will get thier entry fee back and tenth place will pay at least $100

Ya never know, that purse still may go up!
