I would like to thank everyone who put a lot of hard work into putting this event on. I also must apologize for the unexpected delay on Saturday night with the water on the track. Friday night we were able to roll the track in within ten to fifteen minutes, saturday our track prep team over compensated for the amount of cars in the pits, watered too much and thus the delay. The crowd was packed and at the end of the night the stands were still full. I appreciate the huge support from the drivers who came to me and said "dont sweat it, we will get this worked in for ya". After some crazy events in the heat races, the mains really turned out to be exciting with 4 wide on several occasions in the X-Mods, and 3 mains that ran the distance without a caution... All in all, despite the hickups, we had a successful event. When it came down to it, we paid out over $12,000 to the drivers! We will also be presenting a check to Wittens Warriors this weekend at Aztec Speedway for a very large amount!!!!
