This years winter meltdown in Las Cruces will have some changes over past years. Featured divisions are... Modifieds X Mods street stocks mini sprints The modifieds portion will now be a USMTS sanctioned point's show. Wed. February 26 open practice. Thursday feb.27 $2000.00 to win Friday feb.28. $3000.00 to win Saturday March 1st. $4000.00 to win. For the first time ever, the X mods will be on the program...as a stand alone support division. Complete program&pay out each night. According to Royal, they're still in the process of finalizing purse structure.(should be pretty stout) The Street Stocks return...and always put on a great show. Lastly...the mini sprints join the program, replacing the legend cars.
The USMTS sanction&points races,should help insure the top modified drivers in the country will be in attendance. The X mods as the fastest growing class in the Southwest, racing for a big purse should draw a Ton of cars from throughout the region.
