Observations on my trip to the track

Had an opportunity to go out to Motiva (Sandia) Speedway
yesterday to watch Charlie and his crew working in the new clay on both the mini-sprint track and the high banked oval it was nice. I know the fans and the racers are going to be excited to see the fantastic improvement this new surface is going to make. I can't wait been working on both the 360 and 305 car racing will be good and close to home this season. Encourage anyone thats been thinking about running in the sprint car division to check out this web site http://www.racesaver.com its affordable we just checked out our 305 motor 5th season over 100 events bearings good new valve springs and we should get thru the year again. Lets go Racing New Mexico.

Hey folks -
Do we know where they acquired the clay from?
I was surprised to learn that it is not as abundant around these parts as one might expect.

I often wondered is all clay the same or is some better suited for race surfaces.

Clay came from Rio Puerco Basin

The clay is the same material we put on Duke City Raceway and is also the same material that helped Hollywood Hills get their surface problems remedied. If there is one difference the clay Charlie put on last week was significantly cleaner and Charlie really loaded up 2000+ yards Thats more than either of the two other tracks got.

Hope it stays clean, the septic and bleach from last year has created a lot of problems on body panels and steel parts. Just sayin,,,,,

Don't quite understand your question but then again maybe you did not understand my post. I'm Chuck can't charge myself or I guess I could if I did would I be two dollars richer or two dollars poorer
now Mark that a debatable question my answer I think would be two dollars richer because?

very mature response by mark (again). with mark being a racing legend im suprised charlie even charges him to get in. Thanks for the meaningful info chuck. looking forward to the season.
