Just talked to Charlie... The Xmod feature now pays $300.00 to win. (Complete payout on Motiva website) All X mods will be required to pull a valve cover prior to racing. Carbs will be checked as well. Just to clarify... Holley 4412/ no restrictor plate.main throttle body must remain unaltered. Any bored out Rochester/must have a restrictor plate. The Jet Rochester carbs if unaltered require no restrictor plate.
The X mod rules on the Motiva speedway website are copied from the 2013 Las Cruces(SNMS) website. For 2014 Fegan/Motiva again have adopted the Las Cruces rules. The only difference being Motiva allows the Hoosier g60 tire. The only changes for 2014 are a Restrictor plate for any bored out Rochester carb. Go to the SNMSPEEDWAY. Com website for updated rules. El Paso, Tularosa, Grants, Tucson, Central Arizona Speedway(Casa Grande),Arizona Speedway(Apache Junction) have all adopted the 2014 Las Cruces rules as well. Restrictor plates are available from Ricks Performance in Las Cruces. Hatten Performance in Grants. cost is approximately $44.00.
Thanks Mychal. Thats hilarious. The Xmods should start an association, godaddy a website, and not have to rely on the track. For those of us mushrooms out here. I only check this site occasionally and would have never known otherwise.
