With great sadness I post,That long time Sprint Car Owner,Driver and Builder Cecil Trantham passed away Monday morning, Cecil was a long NMMRA member He served on many Board's of directors. Lots of GREAT Drivers Drove Cecil's Cars,Cecil was always there to help Young Drivers with set up's and advice I have many Memories of the "COFFEE CLICK" and the advice I got from Him ,THANKS Cecil The world is a Much better place because of the time Cecil spent here HE WILL BE MISSED

Godspeed to the Trantham family & Cecil's friends. My recent memories of Cecil all revolve around visits to Blaine Harvey's shop. He was quite a guy.

I spent about 3 hours with Cecil about 3 years ago talking the Old days of racin, he was still welding and building stuff when I saw him. He sure lived a full life!
