The racing action heats up this Saturday night at Uranium Capitol Speedway, located in Milan, NM just one hour west of Albuquerque, NM (I-40 exit 79) with all regular classes doing battle for the coveted season championship!
The X-Mods have clearly been the division to watch when it comes to car count and exciting three wide racing thus far this season. Mychal Lucero and JR Bonesteel remain perfect on the year, winning every main they have started collectively. All eyes will be on them this Saturday as this will be their first weekend that both drivers will be racing at the same time. Skimmer Leathem has been lurking in the shadows every week and could easily take home the win as well. LJ Perea and Hayden Foy had their season best runs last weekend and very easily could play the role of spoiler this weekend. The list goes on and on. Car count is expected to be in the neighborhood of 20 strong this weekend, and its no wonder, due to excellent track conditions week in and week out at the very smooth, always fast clay oval. This weekend will be the third installment of the Barnett Points s Series Championship and everyone is excited about the X-Mods in central NM!
The X-Mods will be joined by the Pure Stocks, Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pro Stocks, and Hornets. The GoKarts will be back in action after a week off with their regularly scheduled start time at 6pm. THe pit meeting will be at 630, packing at 645 and racing at 715.
