Fireworks and more at Uranium Capitol Speedway July 4-5

This Independance Day Weekend (July 4-5) make plans to be at Uranium Capitol Speedway for one of the most anticipated events of the season! The X-Mods headline the show with two very impressive payouts! ($500 to win on Friday and $750 to win on Saturday!) If that is not enough, we will be having a Fireworks Show on Saturday night to celebrate!
Thats not it! The purses have been increase in all divisions that pull at least ten cars!!! The top local drivers will be on their A-Game with some of the fastest drivers in the state coming to play the role of spoiler! Dove Creek, CO's Aaron Spangler finds his SBR Race Cars #16 Modified in the points lead at the mid point of the season and is expecting to see a large contengency of A-Mods come through the gate to take on the long haul driver from the mountains of Colorado. The X-mods have been all about 2 drivers this season, JR Bonesteel and Mychal Lucero... will anyone dethrone these two? Look for Toy Fisher to be one to look for that top spot as he already has a win in that NAPA Auto Parts #98... but he won it in the A-Mods! The Street Stocks have been competitive all season with hometown hero George Baisden showing why is is the 8 time defending champion. He will have his hands full as RC Combs brings his 8 race winning streak to town. The Mini Sprints have been the fastest growing class in the state. Patrick Hurtado has found his groove and just at the right time with wins at both central NM racing facilities the past month. If anyone can derail the Hurtado express, it would be Albuquerque drivers Jacob Johnston and Spencer Hill or Arizona long tow driver Dave VanEss from Phoenix; all whom have been lightning fast at UCS this year. Lynette Antonio from Grants, NM has found herself atop the points standings once again but each race her brother Leo inches closer. Those two put on a show each week; throw in some cars from the Albuquerque area and the competition in the Pure Stocks is second to none! The Pro Stocks are expecing to see some visitors from the north in the form of IMCA Stock Cars and with only a couple races under thier belts this year, the fastest class with fenders is expected to keep everyone on their toes!
