Its mid summer (HOT) and finally back on schedule for the Jackson Compaction #99 sprint car off to El Paso tonight Las Cruces Saturday. Then home @ Motiva on the 19th. Then on the 25th and 26th the Big show of the summer in Amarillo. See you at a track somewhere soon.

No local dirt racing...perfect weekend for a road trip. El Paso/Cruces...always great, never disappoints. Also... Route 66 in Amarillo is having a pretty serious get together this Saturday. Late models return after a 20 year absence. $2500.00 to win $400.00 to start. 3 or 4 of our local late models are headed that way. They're also running winged sprints (305's) Full field of A mods... The usual 35/40 sport mods Street stocks & cyclones... ...place will be going off. Bet they go standing room only...for this deal.

Aztec speedway Saturday night. stands packed... food sold out... (always great)... track prep outstanding... great dust control... track took rubber... fast racing... great car counts... I guess it boils down to people that know how to put on a show to please the fans and racers alike...
