It is with GREAT sadness that I post the passing of former NMMRA sprint Car Driver Walt Newlin,Walter was a long time Sprint car Driver When His Grandson Nick Rael got in the seat of Walters Sprint Car ,Walter fired up His OLE RED JEEP and became a weekly push truck operator @ Duck City Raceway, Hollywood Hills Speedway THANK YOU WALTER You WILL BE MISSED Our prayers to His Family

For years, he had old sprint car sitting under the trees in his yard...up in the east mountains. Always thought thought that was cool... He loved sprint cars. Godspeed...sir.
