Just talked with Jim Myers and Charlie Fegan at Sandia Speedway. Due to the heavy rains from the last few days the Asphalt Oval races and the Motorcycle dirt track races scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. At this time it looks like a good chance for the Dirt Track show tomorrow night with the 305 Wing Sprints, A Mods, Street Stocks and Mini-Sprints. Since the dirt track has been dark for 3 weeks most of the drivers have had a chance to re-group and get their cars ready for tomorrow night. We should see plenty of cars in all 4 divisions racing side by side on a great tacky fast track. Bring out the family and friends and enjoy some wild excitement at Sandia Speedway Dirt Track. Racing starts at 6:30.
As it stands right now it looks good for racing tomorrow night but who knows what will happen in the next 48 hours. Night before last in the N.E. heights we got over an inch of rain and the west side got almost nothing, last night the west side got too much rain and the N.E. heights got nearly nothing. So ??????????? Who Know ??????? We will try to keep folks informed tomorrow as the day goes on.
