Sounds like you have been busy this off-season getting ready for next year. Have you heard anything about the new track south of Cruces? We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year.
Have A Great Day God Bless Everybody

Hi Bob... I talked to Sherman Barnett last month when I was in El paso,he told me that there was a zoning meeting coming up shortly in order to get final authorization to begin. All of the equipment has been purchased(bleachers, concessions etc.). Fito Gallardo's construction company will do the work. The track is to be located at the Vado exit in between Las Cruces & El Paso. I was told it's on the Northwest corner adjacent to the interstate. Should know more shortly...

Bob I haven't heard anything concrete about the track so i don't have any news just a hope that they get it done and we have a good place to go enjoy racing. It appears that there is more local buzz about racing this year I would love nothing better than full stands and full fields. Good to see your post Merry Christmas
