Congratulations on your weight loss Chris! If you are following 100% SS then you are getting the best results your body can give you. If you are adding food then it will of course have an impact on your results. Over the course of losing my weight I did experience some slower times then others, and once even hit a plateau that lasted for several weeks, but as long as I was SS I relaxed in knowing that I was doing all that was required to lose at the fasted and safest way possible. There were a couple of times that I got in to a habit of adding food and not being careful, thinking it wasn't enough to matter, but my weight loss would stall or slow and I knew I had to get back on track. I would get back to just shakes for a few days to get things moving in the right direction again. It's a learning process and no one right way for everyone. You're making good progress and if you are comfortable with your method and results then no reason to change anything. You're losing over half a pound a day!
