The hardest one for me was (and at times will still tug on my mind) is when they come out with something "New"
Not "New and Improved" because most of the time that is a lie.
They try to make you feel "Left out" and not part of the "Cool Kids"
But a new chocolate filled with such and such or a new chip flavor or fast food item on their menu.
It took me a while to figure out, "If it is good enough now it will be there later, if it sucked, then I didn't need it anyway"
They are on to me now. Now they try to make me hurry and try it.
"Limited Time Only" Or "Just for a Short While" Or "Supplies Limited."
I don't fall for their tricks anymore. And it is "tricks" it is their job, at any cost, to make us buy it.
It is up to us to say, "No"
