Yes, I asked the church Secretary what could I bring that wouldn't be over load. I didn't want to be adding to the 300 cupcakes that everyone else might bring.
She said a few things, but that only gave me a few hours to "cook/Bake"
Not to mention having to leave the house again.
Yvonne turned on a light bulb, Don't cook....buy.
I stopped at the Dollar Tree for several Mothers Day and Birthday Cards.
My mom Birthday is May 12 and Mothers day is on the 12th.
Went in and got the cards (7 of each, mailing one a day.)
I digress.....
Went up the chip/cracker aisle for picnic stuff to take.
Well, they had a three pack of Cracker Jacks for a buck, so I got 10 of those for the kids. Then looked and they had snack packs of "Teddy Grahams" four to a box, I got 8 of those. Went around the corner and they had a three pack of "Blowing Bubbles" shaped like Ice Cream Cones.
I got 10 of those.
The parents might hate me, but I bet the kids had a great time.
They wouldn't care if I brought baked beans or potato Salad!
