This is how I see it. We all have our "ideal", (for lack of a better word) form. The one we would be in minus all the outside influences that are in our lives. Our authentic self. Everything outside of that is a result of behavior so in a way, temporary. If the behavior was eliminated, then we would, in theory, return to that authentic state. So this is why I liked to think of my own obesity as "temporary". Simplified thinking, but it helped me accept that my obesity did not happen "to" me, it happened "because" of me which gave me a belief I could change. Again...these were my own ponderings as I was working my way through.
So yes, Yvonne, Your goal self is in there, waiting to be revealed like a fine work of art!
