I'm Yvonne. You may remember me. You are correct——for many people, Cambridge is the only way (weigh) to go!! Pardon the pun.
Pam will guide you, but just have 4 Cambridge meals a day. It is a modified fast. It is terrific and it has been around for over 35 years without any problems. I've done my research.
The question is: "Is a person willing to stop eating conventional food and enter a modified fast for an extended period of time?" The answer in many cases is: "No!"
If one is willing to sanitized their kitchen, i.e., throw all the food out (or give it away) and just stick with Cambridge, you'll be in good shape by August. However, it's the psychology of weight loss that flummoxes most people, including me.
Order the shakes and just "dive in".
