Hi Ann. Sorry about your news, but please know that you can reverse type 2 diabetes. It is not a disease that will inevitably progress no matter what you do and it does not have to be managed with medications for the rest of your life. Keto is a good way to improve your numbers, but it is slow and many people find that they lose for a bit and then it stalls out on them. Cambridge will give you the same benefits of ketosis but you will also get the rapid weight loss results that you want to get so you can reverse this type 2 diabetes before it gets a chance to advance any more. Once you reach goal weight then you may want to transition in to a low carb lifestyle for maintenance. I basically eat no sugars, grains, or processed foods 99% of the time. I don't crave them anymore so it's easy. All I did was have my Cambridge 3, sometimes 4 times a day. That's pretty much it! If I needed something else I stuck to lean protein like a few scrambled egg whites with hot sauce or a couple slices of turkey or chicken breast. I had a couple of binges early on, but I just didn't quit. I got right back on. I also had a couple of dinners out with friends so I wasn't perfect. I just didn't quit. I had my frustrations and pity parties along the way and one killer plateau that lasted a few weeks, but again....just didn't quit.
