Fat loss on The Cambridge Diet is steady and on average your body will need to burn around .5 lb a day. Unfortunately the scale doesn't weigh only fat. It weighs everything, including water, which as this chart shows can vary hour by hour. So before you step on that scale and let it tell you how to feel about yourself today, remember it only gives an estimate at best. Better to rely on measurements, pictures, and how your clothes fit. Just stick to your Cambridge plan and your body will do the rest.
