Day #11 Posted by Yvonne on 4/18/2018, 7:40 am Good morning, folks: I'm the Energizer Bunny. I just keep going. I drank some amazing tea (Greenfield black tea Strawberry Gourmet). It was so soothing and the aroma was delightful. Then I did some research on this new Greenfield tea and found it was from Russia (i.e., The Russian Tea Room). Then I got panicky about being poisoned by the Russians. I calmed down and dismissed my paranoia and had a soothing cup of tea before I went to bed. I'm still here. ;-) Have a great day everyone!

A nice hot cup of broth is a real appetite soother for me. I was never much of a tea drinker. Hope you're getting some good weather there. I know you are still recuperating and probably not spending a lot of time outside, but sunshine makes everything better! Have a great day

One thing that nutritionists recommend to their overweight clients is to drink hot broth or soup before their meals to curb appetite. Something about hot liquid in the tummy. I suppose tea would do the same...but I like the slight saltiness of the broth. We are in the 80's here with clear blue sunny skies. Not necessarily optimal for a melanoma patient like me, but I can enjoy it from the shade! lol! Hoping for some warm sunny days coming your way!
