97 days to go! Posted by Yvonne on 4/25/2018, 7:43 am Okay, I'm in for the past three days. Today, it's raining but I just received my hibiscus seedlings and I am ready to plant by weeks end. Keep slurping. I am off to physical therapy. Have a great day everyone.

Andy messed up his knee really badly. I'm pretty sure he partially tore the ligament that connects his patella to his quadriceps. It happened a few days ago...no accident...just over-use. He's been in a world of hurt. I think we will be heading to the ER tomorrow. We can't find an orthopedist to see him any earlier then a month from now. Keep going Yvonne!

But, to have to wait a MONTH to see an orthopedist is ridiculous. It's just about the "bottom line" nowadays. I hope he is diagnosed correctly and receives some relief very soon. I'm doing fine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Regrettably, I never know when something comes out of the blue and blindsides me. But, it's almost bedtime and I have survived another day.

Re: Medicine as a business Posted by Pam T on 4/26/2018, 5:30 pm, in reply to "Medicine as a business" One of the office people I talked to said that he could go get an x-ray and then one of the doctors would look at it when he had time and decide if he needs to be seen. Of course she couldn't tell me when that would happen. He really doesn't want to go to the ER so he's staying off of it (no small deal for him!) and seeing how much recovery he can get. I finally found someone that can see him next friday, but it's an office that gets really low ratings so we're hoping for a miracle before then.
