I'm home after a very exhausting week of traveling to MD and back to fetch Kim (my daughter) after a month of her staying with her brothers. It was a 15 hr drive there, a stressful week, and the 16 hours home yesterday. Whew!!! I'm in recovery mode right now.
I will get caught up on your posts later today and see how you all are doing. I'm SSing today and probably for a week (maybe longer) to get rid of my travel leg swelling and get my system back on track. it's 4pm and I am already feeling better.
Hi Honey...

Happy to see you back. Travel is hard on us older. ummm, well over 30 years peoples. 15 hours is a long time. But now, you get to have your life back. I pray that Kim had a wonderful time with her brothers. I pray too that her illness is in check and she is on her way to complete recovery. Happy Mothers Day times 3 for you. Is it wrong to have a great Mothers day without our kids???? Just kiddin' (Kinda) (Hugs)

Thank you Me. Yes, Kim did have a great time. This was actually the first time in almost 11 years that they all 3 got to spend time together. It was good for all of them. My oldest took Andy and me to a very nice restaurant for a combo Mothers's/Father's day dinner. Very fancy!
I had been feeling a little under the weather the last few days of our stay there and I assumed it was just being worn out and not getting any sleep, but I actually ended up getting sick with a stomach virus that's going around. I'm just starting to feel human again today.
We will be going in to see Kim's ENT next week to get the results of her radiation related hearing loss. She is nearly 100% gone on the radiation side. We will be discussing if surgery or aids are her best option.
I'm going to go heat up some broth and then take a shower and see if I can return to feeling human today, lol! Hope all is well for you
All good here.........

Thanks for asking. Oh deer!!! In this day and age, you would think that they could come up with something that would help more than it hurt. You don't think about your senses until you lose them. I have no "Smeller" It has been years and years. Yes, people say when something smells bad, "You're lucky you can't smell it" No, that isn't true. I would smell 10 horrible things to be able to smell a carnation. 100 nasty things to smell a new puppies breath. 1000 gross things to smell my freshly showered, in their PJ's ready to sleep grand daughters. I pray that a solution is found for Kim. Do you remember a time back when they were teens, they didn't listen on purpose? Ha! I had a teen once, he was selectively deaf. He's married now, if he still has that affliction, not my problem. Ha Ha Ha!!! Hope you are feeling better. I was on my way home from church on Sunday. The gal that was taking me to my car started to feel sick. Her stomach went crazy. She had to run into a McDonald's fast... She was gone about 10 minutes. I saw her coming out the door, took 5 steps, held up a finger, as in "Wait" and ran back in. I Talked to her Tuesdays. She said she had some bug. Was better, but not totally. (Hugs and Prayers)
Welcome Back!!

I am glad you are home——safe and sound.
With all the hoopla surrounding Mother's Day, I am totally overwhelmed, but Monday is coming, again.
