Just keep going!! Posted by Yvonne on 6/5/2018, 6:59 pm Hi, folks: I had to give a public speech today. I was SO dried up with antihistamines that my mouth felt like the Sahara. But, I soldiered on. It was for 5th an 6th-graders. They wanted to hear the story of my life. Cool, eh?! It was really nice. Tomorrow, I will be seeing my dance instructor for a quick "lunch". I haven't seen him since last September because of all of the surgery and such. He really wanted to see how I was doing. So, I guess I'm stuck with yet another "social" encounter. Iced Tea for me. My cough has diminished greatly and I am feeling much better. Take care folks. It's later than you think.

Ah, dance! Posted by Yvonne on 6/7/2018, 4:50 pm, in reply to "Re: Just keep going!!" Not anytime soon, regrettably. The tendon needs a couple more months. My orthopedist has cautioned me not to be too aggressive with the "comeback". She estimates September or October would be the earliest for me to return to the dance floor. I still am going to physical therapy. Who knew that this injury would take this long after surgery to heal and for me to resume my livelihood? But, I am NOT complaining. God is good and I am thankful that I can walk.
