DAY 5 Pumpkin Pie Spicey Vanilla Shake Posted by MaryL on 9/22/2018, 10:53 am Pam I tried the Pumpkin Vanilla Shake this morning. It was so good! I think I'll be having that shake every day for awhile. My husband just made apple fritter toast. It smells really, really good. I can't let this kind of thing sabotage my efforts. I have made good progress so far and I am into day 5.The weekends are very hard so I want to stay busy. Fortunately for me I have to work a full shift tomorrow. That will help keep me on track. I got the idea from a treat I used to make my day care kids. I would make up some instant vanilla pudding and put Pumpkin puree and cinnamon in it with some graham cracker crumbs on top. They loved it. I don't know what apple fritter toast and I don't think I want to know. Apple fritters are one of my greatest old weaknesses. Now I only have one a year from the Mennonite bakery up in MD where my boys live. I will be having one in Feb when we go up to see my 1st grandbaby! As long as that bakery is 15 hrs away from me I figure I'm safe! lol!

Right when I was on day 4 or 5 and then I would smell the aroma of the whatever he would bring in and fold like a cheap suit. My husband is ill now (as you know) and that apple fritter toast your husband made is not good for him either. You're doing this actually for the BOTH of you!! I am sure if I held firm and lost MY weight, my husband would have eventually followed suit and would not be in the situation he is in right now. But, we can't look back. You're doing fine MaryL. Keep going!!!
