Cambridge and 1 Meal Per Day Posted by MaryL on 10/2/2018, 10:39 am Hi. It was another weekend with challenges. I decided to do my Cambridge plus 1 healthy meal this week. More than anything I need to work on mindset. Everyone keep going.

I have been having emotional challenges as well as downright personal challenges in trying to adapt to my new role as caretaker to my post-stroke husband. He is slowly coming along but It is SO exhausting for me!! Every day there is something frustrating. But I just keep going!!

Lord knows you deserve the very best in life.God gives us gifts. Sometimes a terrible tragedy can have a silver lining.A silver lining might be that you were given the opportunity to clear all the food from your home. My gift from God is a challenge to me to find my inner strength. I have to pull from myself up and find the inner strength to resist the temptation of food because the food is there all around me. Most of the time I do not feel I have the inner strength. Sometimes I feel like I do not have the strength to get out of bed, to get up and go to work, to go on living another day, much less avoid food so it has been a huge obstacle in my ability to lose weight. I am going back on SS this week- Monday October 8. I will let you know how I am doing in another month or 2. Everyone keep going.

I'm actually tearing up a bit reading them because I remember so clearly those feelings and it throws me back to that time and heartache. I understand. If I was there I would put my arm around you and tell you that it gets better. That you've got the strength within you to push through. Wear your hope and belief in yourself like a suit of armor. In your mind, visualize yourself as a powerful force, even if you're struggling. The mind is the most powerful tool we have to override our habits and conditioning and change our direction. Believe in your ability to create a happier, healthier life for yourself because it's there, waiting for you. You absolutely have what it takes.

I wish you luck being in a house with those who have the need to eat conventional food. But, if you just get a week on sole source, the ketosis will help you lose your appetite and make it a bit easier to stay on track. God Bless You and thank you for your love and kind words.

If I could send you a box of energy and endurance, I would be at UPS right now! Take care of yourself first, so you can take care of everyone and everything else.

I've had hundreds of clients, including my own husband, have tremendous success using Cambridge and a calorie controlled meal each day. For him it was 3 Cambridge plus a big green salad with veggies like green onions, tomato, and cucumber along with 3 grilled chicken tenders and some low cal dressing. Since we are dealing with both the emotional and the physical challenges of losing weight, it makes sense that we design a personal plan that works for both. Keep us posted on how you do
