I walked!! Posted by Yvonne on 10/10/2018, 9:38 pm Yes, I did!! I walked TWICE around the track and no one passed me as I was walking (a triumph). Yes, I am exhausted and tired, but I will NEVER stop trying!!

It was a huge moment. When I first started walking, little old ladies and toddlers were easily passing me by. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for each painful step and milestone that brought me back to life. Have a great day Yvonne. As I mentioned below, we're heading to Gainseville today with Kim. Its going to be a long day in the car and hospital, but I'll check in when I get home this evening. Until then...be good!

She seems to be suffering a reaction to the anesthesia they used to relax her for intubation. My guess is they used succinylcholine and she is one of the unfortunate ones to end up with horrible all over body pain, like she ran a marathon and then did 1000 chin ups and 1000 sit ups and lifted weights with her neck. That's how she describes it. It's starting to resolve today so hopefully she's been through the worst of it. Yes...hoping for good news. I really don't know how she will handle any more bad. She is finally starting to talk about her future plans and she really needs a break.
