One-derland!!! 40 pounds from goal!! Posted by Yvonne on 4/13/2019, 11:00 pm Hi, folks: I have been struggling, too! But, I guess all of my adherence to Cambridge since August 21st is beginning to bear fruit. I just had my gyn appointment and I was weighed in her office. She had to put the lower weight on 150!! OMG!! the upper weight went to the right to 41. I have to keep focus now because I am in a place where I have NEVER been for longer than a few months——ONE-DERLAND!!! My fitbit wristband and "keeper" of everything I eat, drink and exercise flashed that I am "40 pounds from my goal". I can't believe this!! My mind is being blown right now. However, I must not become complacent. I am heading toward my home stretch. Yes, I know that 40 pounds is still a lot of weight to lose, but I am getting there. I've always wanted what the skinny girls called "thigh light" (the area between your upper legs where the light shines through). I'm getting there!!

With all you've had on your plate (or in your case...in your blender) it is admirable you have powered through. What is you total loss so far if you don't mind me asking?

That’s the way it should be. I believe in Cambridge, not the scale any more. No one ever asks you how much you weigh. It’s how you look in your clothes and that’s the only thing folks see. So, onwards and downwards to my goal (which is within reach now), thanks to Cambridge.

You Give Me Hope ..I started at 247 the day after Lent and I weighted today and I am at 228 still have a way to go..my goal is 150..i turned 50 this pasted October but I know I will get there by Christmas..My only child my Amazing Son is Graduating College and I am not going to be wearing a something frumpy..lol...thanks for posting the picture I love your carpet in your basement my parents had the same color growing up brings back great memories. But, I hate, hate, hate cold hardwood flooring with "area" rugs which I trip over all the time. Most houses look like libraries or museums now with the cold echo of one's voice rather than the hominess of carpet. If I have offended you with the hardwood floors, I apologize, But the warm, softness and welcoming feeling of carpet is my thing, PLUS it is QUIET!! No, clacking of shoes and NO cold feet. That's just me. I love my wall-to-wall carpet. I'm glad it brought back memories. Keep going, Barbara. I am trying to get to 147 pounds. I still have my "jelly belly" to take care of. Hang in there. You can do it!!!
