Not happy, but not surprised. Haven't really been able to stay focused since I got back from Vegas. I vowed I'd never see 300+ on the scale so this morning I had a rude awakening.
I will not deter and get comfortable.
Here's an update for this month: Looks like my caregiver job will start this Friday (my client will be going home from rehab tomorrow) and they've sent me the schedule so I am no longer going to be available at home on weekends!
The weekend of June 22nd, I'll be going to a wedding and see Paul McCartney. My friend is visiting from NJ so I will most probably not be on SS. which gives me a good 3 weeks to be on it before that weekend
I have a couple things to look forward to this month. Onward and forward.
Good luck everyone!

It's ok Sonali. Sometimes we need a good reality check to clear our path. With your weekend job starting up again, you'll get back on track.
With as full of a social life as you lead, (lucky!) you have lots of opportunities to change your thoughts and behaviors where food is concerned. Weddings are tough...booze, cake and all...but if you can make the decision to stick as close to low carbohydrate as you can, you should be able to get through this event and come out with little damage. Try to avoid any and all forms of sugar in food and drink.
At some point you want to no longer be on a diet. Most of us weight challenged folks are either gaining or losing it seems. Maintaining is a practiced art. It is a lifestyle choice that can be mastered and become your new normal. Times like these (wedding and friends) are perfect for building your "maintenance muscle". Challenge yourself to get through this with no more then 3 lbs or less of weight gain. That will likely be mostly water and waste and easily lost once back on Cambridge.
3 weeks is a good amount of time to put a distance between you and that 300!
