Day #5 - well almost Posted by YVONNE on 7/5/2019, 12:42 pm Good morning, people!! July 4th is OVER!! Thank goodness. I was doing so well, that is until the holiday and the family and friends and neighbors showed up with their concerns and well wishes for me and my husband. I just would have rather crawled into a hole and stayed there until today. But, that was not possible. Food and the need to offer food to those you want to console is compulsive. No excuses! I could have said, "No!", but I didn't. But everyone is gone now and I can get back to ME. Down but not OUT!! I'm up again and sipping my Cambridge shake. I'm getting back on the horse and hopefully will gallop (not limp) to the end of the month. I do not foresee any other obligatory social gatherings for the rest of the month. I'm still counting today as Day #5. Two days are a lapse, not a relapse and I do not want this month to become a total collapse. Hang in there, folks!!

But on the bright side you have people in your life that truly care about you and that is lovely. So now that it's the 7th I hope you have recovered and got your focus back. You are SO close to your goal! Full steam ahead!!!
