I just heard about all of this hurricane weather swirling around us.
Being in New Jersey, I must admit that my news station was not covering the proposed hurricane Dorian as much.
I hope you and your family are okay and have survived whatever Mother Nature threw at you.
I've been down in the dumps for some reason. I think all of this is catching up with me. My appetite is back and that is NOT a good thing.
However, I have hope and faith that my "hurricane" of an appetite will settle down once I keep going on Cambridge. I'm starting again today. It continues to be a struggle for me.
I'm hoping to get out of these duldrums and perk up to focus on what I need to do.
My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
It's been 2 exhausting, stressful weeks of dread and freaking out at how this storm was shaping up, not to mention prepping the house. But this time Mother Nature was kind and we had minimal damage. We stayed 2 nights near Tampa and our power only was out for 1 hour here! We were expecting 2 weeks at least. Coming home to see our house intact and our porch light on to welcome us almost made me cry. Seeing what people in the Bahamas experienced and are going through is unbelievably horrible. The fact that that storm was heading for us was terrifying.
How did you do yesterday and today? Were you able to power through? If your appetite is actual physical hunger, try a swig of pickle brine. It really works for me.
I am SO happy to hear that you and your family literally "weathered the storm". My heart does go out to those in the Bahamas. Mother Nature is a mutha!
My head is not right, Pam. Today, I had a social lunch with a colleague (good friend) that I hadn't seen in over 2 years. She noticed the physical change and that was nice; however, it triggered "Pac-Man" for me.
I just need to settle down and figure out what I am doing wrong.
I know I will. So, my plan is to start once again tomorrow and keep going NO MATTER WHAT!! I have another luncheon next Saturday. So, hopefully, I can be sole source and get rid of all of this bloat in a week.
Again, I am thankful and grateful that you are all right. Take care.
