Coronavirus!! Posted by Yvonne on 3/13/2020, 12:35 pm I know I was supposed to be "focused" on me, but this uncertainty about the coronavirus has me eating up a storm and I don't know why. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I am trying to get back to my laser-like focus, but I'm not doing very well. I know I'll "get it together" soon. I hope everyone is safe and fine.

You amaze me with your walking. I had to visit the grocery store today for some pet food, paper supplies, and food for husband. It did not help my diet for several reasons. It's a little crazy out there! Take care everyone.

Focus? Posted by Yvonne on 3/19/2020, 7:25 pm, in reply to "Re: Coronavirus!!" Well, Jean W.. Almost!! I know "close" is only good for horseshoes, but for 2 solid days I was on sole source. Then today, I listened to the cable tv news programs and go so depressed I started to eat spaghetti and meatballs. However, with that said, this is a perfect time to stay on sole source. ALL THE RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSED!!!, at least in my town. I tried to get some paper towels at the supermarket. NO LUCK!! It's like the last train left for Poland. Folks are hoarding EVERYTHING!! Please be safe and well. Onward to victory!!!

We will never know everything till we meet God on the other side. One of my favorite songs is I will survive. Don’t panic..pray. Get back on track Ms. Yvonne. Think of all the anxiety you will prevent by not finding a restaurant open to go off of your diet. My prayers are with you all.

I have been gorging myself in self-pity (for various reasons), BUT today, I just realized that this is the PERFECT time for sole sourcing. I don't have to go to the market or restaurant to be exposed to the virus. I just need to stay cloistered in my home and sip on my Cambridge. Thank you for your perspective. Stay safe and well.

I'm not having the best week sticking to my diet/health plan. I've been eating too much and too often. On a more positive note there have been some warmer sunny days in my neck of the woods. Spring makes me feel better as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. I know you and I both will "get it together" soon! I hope you have a great weekend.
