I have been struggling, as I am sure everyone else is, too.
But, I just wanted to put down my thoughts in writing and then continue on.
My stomach is growling and my eye is on that sausage, tomato sauce and spaghetti in the frig. However, I am willing myself to not eat that stuff until I have my appropriate Cambridge shake and Atkins bar.
Yes, I still have the Cambridge Original Shake (Rich Chocolate). It seems I cleaned them out. But, Cambridge or not, I hope each one of you has a plan (Slim Fast, Atkins etc) and that you will follow it.
I'm trying to do that right now. I'll let you know I how fared. If I can just get through 4 days, I know I will be on my way.

Yes, it is a struggle. I don't have any Cambridge, but I do have plenty of other shakes and some Atkins bars.
How did the battle go yesterday? I hope you won! I just started up today on April 1. I know what you mean about day 4. Over the years I usually felt much better on day five. I am setting my sites on getting there.

Slippery slope! I was very emotional for some reason when I had to wave at my husband in the driveway of the rehab hospital and I totally lost it.
I drove home weeping and had some cookies and Haagen Dazs strawberry ice cream. The COVID19 pandemic is playing havoc with my psyche and it is breaking my spirit.
But, I just saw this gorgeous opera coat and it made me feel better. There is nothing like retail therapy. My husband is fine. I am asymptomatic and we are keeping our fingers crossed.
I hope your first day was a good one. I intend to map out my walking path for tomorrow. They have closed all the Bergen County parks because of the coronavirus and I was thrown for a loop. My routine was disrupted and perhaps that didn't help me either. No gym, no tennis, no walking. But, I have to think out of the box and that's what I am trying to do. I still have my stationary bike and my abdominal exercises I do. Plus the fabulous 4-minute workout. It really helped my shoulder pain.
I am rambling. I'll keep you "posted", Jean W. It seems it's just you and me on this Board.

Hello Yvonne-
So sorry to read you had a bad day yesterday. The situation with your husband must be a difficult one with this COVID19 pandemic. We must fight against the stress so it doesn't break our spirit. The opera coat so gorgeous, it's befitting royalty. Just looking at it raised my spirit.
My day one was not perfect, but was a vast improvement over my eating habits of late. One day at a time, right? I hope today was better for you.
