I know it will be a short list, but I am interested to see how many we still have here on our support board. Please post your name below and maybe a few words on your short term weight loss/health/fittness goals

Hello-I am happy to see the board is still here.My intention is to stay on track now with my daughter's help and encouragement. Exercise will be walking, exercise bike, gardening. In recent months I was trying to use the Zone diet in conjunction with use of some of my leftover Cambridge. I do not have a lot of confidence, an d faith in my ability to stay focused. I am easily discouraged, sad, depressed -making no weight loss progress -Many times I have started the day with good intentions and by the end of the day the intentions are gone. It does not help that I am retired with a husband that is a sugarholic….must have sweets every day. He likes to make little nasty remarks that he believes are funny but still there is no excuse for not taking care of myself.. The eating program that I am now on is one that was developed to "starve" lymphodema and lipodema. I started it about a week ago after I received the book, found on Amazon. I have lymphodema. It does include supplements that may be purchased online or locally, and is simple to follow with common whole foods that anyone can buy at the local grocery store.I am still using some Cambridge products until they are gone. The lymphodema program discourgages the use of processed foods, white sugar, white flour and encourages plant based nutrition with limited animal protein. Fermented foods like sauerkraut, kefir, yogurt, kimchi for gut health are encouraged.
My goal is to stay on track eating to relieve the lymphedema symptoms, starting with baby steps to make huge progress.
Thank you for still being here!

Hi Pam, Yvonne, Jean, Sonali, Ann and any other lurkers like myself. I think I came across Pam's board quite a while ago either from the old US Cambridge site or a google search on Cambridge. I first found out about Cambridge back around 2013 from Lawrence in the UK. He had a massive facebook group with daily videos. Not sure if any of you are familiar with Lawrence. He was like my drill sergeant. He even spent his own dime and called me from London to speak with me for around 30 minutes. Anyhoos, I ordered a bunch from Cambridge US and lost quite a bit in 2013-15. Then got lazy and put more on in 2016-18. In late 2018 I decided to get serious and went from just shy of 300 down to 195 on SS. Then around Sept 2019 I decided to do an experiment and see how my bod would react if I went back to bad habits. As you can see around mid april 2020 it peaked around 263. I said forget that I'll go back to under 200 and stay there. In high school and even up to about 45 years old I was always around 190-195. But after 45 it started coming on bit by bit. So, bit by bit it's back to 190-200 for moi. I did it before and I'll do it again.
