I scrapped the idea of doing three shakes per day with not much else because guess what- For me it leads to binging! It may be OK for YOU( that's anyone who is strong willed enough to do it) and that is wonderful if you can do it! I hope to work into that later. I am tracking what I eat on one of the popular diet websites and it does help to maintain focus. It even allows you to track your activity. This is my todays meal plan:
Cambridge Shake= Breakfast
Romaine salad with purple cabbage and shredded carrots = lunch
Stuffed Cabbage Rolls = Dinner with husband
Snacks: Cambridge Dutch Chocolate Shake(yum! Makes a great dessert) and cucumbers.
That was my plan for today and I have done great!!!! Just need to add some type of exercise.
I am doing fine - This is not a sprint- It is a marathon. I have so much fluid retention in my legs because, the valves wore out - they need surgery(laser ablation) so my weight may not be all fat but the numbers on the scale indicate I need to lose 160 pounds- I know this will take at least 1 year. My focus is to eat healthy and the rest will follow.
Everyone take care and be strong! And remember you are not alone in your struggle.
I'm with you MaryL

With the departure of Cambridge in most of our lives, we all need to find a diet that works for us.
Good for you.
I have a stash of Cambridge and I am still with my Rich Original Chocolate Shake.
You are right! It is a marathon and we should be grateful for every ounce or part of an ounce we lose because THIS IS HARD STUFF!!
Exercise? I have a stationary bicycle and I walk. With the gym closed due to COVID-19, I no longer have a trainer and it is all on me. So, I have sneakers, legs and a walk path at the park.
We may be doing this by ourselves, individually, but we are not alone with this Support Board and that makes all the difference in the world.
