Here's a quick update of what's been going on with me: In August, I lost an aunt (due to kidney illness), a cousin (heart attack at age 57) and this month... just last week, we've learned that my niece, cousin and another cousin's wife tested positive with COVID.
It's been a whirlwind of unfortunate events. And here I am struggling and going to food for comfort as well.
I just got back from a 45-min walk and had my first shake. Monday I am traveling to NJ to visit a friend. I had this trip programed and since flights are operating again, canceling or postponing is not an option.
Anyway, everyone have a good day and a great weekend.
It's just you and me again( I think). Perhaps, Mike, too. I have been mentally fatigued and also turning to food for comfort. Ergo, weight gain.
I'm also sorry to hear of the COVID-19 attack on your family.
I checked back on the Support Board hoping there was anyone still posting. I was pleasantly surprised to read your post (even with the sad news about your family).
Pam is no longer active it seems on the Board since Cambridge USA went out of business. Folks are selling their Cambridge. I felt so isolated and alone (except for Mike, that is). I really needed a "pep talk". But, all I hear are "crickets". The silence is deafening.
When you return from New Jersey, let's rededicate ourselves to getting back on track. Hopefully, the recent snag in my husband's care will be resolved and I can concentrate on losing weight.
Have a safe flight and a memorable visit with your friend.
Take care and so long for now. Let me know when you're ready.

Hi Sonali and Yvonne,
I am still here. Still doing my experiments on what exactly will maintain the weight within a 5 pound range or so. What I have learned so far is that it is easy to lose the weight. No challenge there. The next level begins after that when one must maintain that weight. I seem to have learned pretty much what it will take to hold a steady weight. When I was at 210 and decided to do that experiment the weight (water?) quickly came on and I went to 220 fairly fast.
For the last month or so I have been working on maintaining a weight range so I will pretty much know what to expect at 180-185. For the last month I have been rock solid at 227 or so with small variances (water?) up to 230-31 then back down to 227. Perhaps this might mean I have to go down to 170 then eat normal and go back up to 185 and maintain 185-190. We will see.
Here's the motivation for the day. I've had this saved on my computer forever. What Eric tells his audience about success is BANG ON !!
