Dodgers take the World Series Posted by Sonali on 10/28/2020, 2:06 pm Well, last night was very eventful. We carved pumpkins (since Monday we didn't) and we watched the final series game. There was endless food and I caved BUT did not over do it. At least I know I could have had more but did not. In between the carving and the game, I did go out to walk my pup. Only made it to 8200 steps, but that's ok. I am not sure I've lost much but I am confident I have not gained... We will see Sunday! Fires and winds seem to have mellowed out in my area so today was a good walk day in the morning. I have a lunch appointment and then going to get acupuncture, massage and Cupping this evening. Walking at night and HOPEFULLY my dinner is reasonable. More birthday celebrations tomorrow and outings this weekend but just taking it one day at a time.

Yay!! The Dodgers are World Champions! Posted by Yvonne on 10/28/2020, 7:16 pm, in reply to "Dodgers take the World Series" I am so happy that the Dodgers won and made so many of their fans happy in these "worst of times". Tomorrow is my big day to play tennis. Gurrrl!! I don't know about the acupuncture and I am too embarrassed to have massages because I am so self-conscious of my rolls of fat. So, I just go on the court and hit a few tennis balls. I'll try to get in 10,000 steps tomorrow. Once I'm up, I am able to keep going. It's just that first step and overcoming my initial laziness and inertia that keep me sitting like a sloth. Anyway, I think I can handle the next three days before our weigh-in by following the "good" book of nutritional intake. Take care!!

What's the purple and white fruit/vegetable? Looks interesting. The pumpkins are absolutely adorable and you really did it from scratch. Beautiful artistry. Just beautiful. Kudos to you and your friends and family. Now to kick back and taste some of that Moscato. Yeah, baby!! But, wait!!---Weigh-in on Sunday.

Goat Cheese Posted by Sonali on 10/29/2020, 2:39 pm, in reply to "Ooooo!! I love the atmosphere" The purple/white fruit looking ball on the platter is goat cheese :-) That was the decent platter... Didn't want to show the other platters of junk! Anyway, all those pumpkin carvings/game nights are over.
