K is 5 and has never used a toilet to poop and only uses our private toilet to wee. He is home educated because the school would not allow him to have a nappy on in school, they also refused to put one on to enable him to wee during the day. The NHS have recognised his problem and provide him with nappies. However they don't see it as a disorder only as a failure on my part to toilet train him or that it is due to something else like Autism. K is extremly intelegent with an IQ of 127 when he was 2 and a half. He is on the gifted scale and therefore knows he is not "normal" He hates the fact that he has to have a nappy to poop.
Can anyone give me some ideas on how to help him with this problem. He will be 6 in September. I have tried ofering him a reward, at the moment if he poops on the toilet he will get a Guinea pig but even with that incentive he still can't go.
