i had tried those powders and tablets with 'good' bacteria and some other stuff, like gut-relaxing pills like colofac etc. over the years, but nothing got rid of the IBS. then 2 years ago i had a spell of thrush and bought one of these one-time-doses of canesten. ever since then i can't remember a single 'freak' (for no apparent reason) bad stomach, and i do now consider myself as being free from IBS. so anyway, just thought i let you know in case anyone wants to see if it might work for them as well :-) Emily
aside from my parcopresis i also used to suffer from IBS. i was diagnosed with it about 10 years ago. basically had bad stomachs all the time, diarrhea and constipation and all the rest of it.
and it always wrecked my head to try and figure out what exactly gave me a bad stomach if say i ate the same thing twice and once i was okay and another time it would give me a bad stomach..
the thrush disappeared within a day or two but something else also disappeared along with it - my IBS.
the only bad stomachs i get now is when maybe i drink too much the night before or when i can't go because of parcopresis and then have pains etc...
