glad u've found this site so at least u know u're not alone.. also the good thing was that people kept the doors to their rooms closed, i think if any doors would have been open i couldn't have gone cause as a 'rule of thumb' i'm alright if there's 2 doors between me and anybody else. so anyway, i think u'll be alright, as once u're in the situation your body will naturally guide u towards the best times to go and how to be as comfortable as possible, so just trust that your body will look after u :-) also keep in mind that u will always be free to leave, but it hardly ever comes to that as usually knowing u have that final power means u won't need to exercise it, if that makes any sense :-) take care,
i'm not a student but have lived in shared accommodation before, like once with about 8 other people in a staff bungalow (1 toilet) when working in a hotel..i found that when i was in this situation i quickly sussed out when there were quiet times, like when most people where either on their shifts or asleep, to use the bathroom then.
