Lanzarote is good but, although it's advertised as "year round sunshine" it isn't! Well, to be honest, the tourists are walking around in shorts and tee shirts but we are still in jeans! Relative, I suppose. I like it here, more relaxed and less uptight - but I still am, of course, because the problem follows me wherever I go! Bristol! Blimey! (great word for a Scot!) I used to live very near there and I hated it so much! Still, I'm very pleased that you are doing something very constructive and, I'm sure, very helpful for all of you. Wish I could be there? Yes. Or maybe I couldn't face all of you people who are so much more open than I am. I am so much older than you and have had this problem for more than forty years. I was even in a psychiatric hospital because of it - I'm not as flippant as you think, Baz! I wish you all well and truly hope that you all, all of you, benefit from sharing your fears. I think of you all often and wish that you could overcome the dread. I haven't but you are so much younger and I want to hope that this makes a difference to you all.
Best wishes to you all - especially you, Baz, who has worked so hard and overcome your embarrassments to create this lifeline - because that's what it is. Didn't have email in this third world country but I've thought about you all often.
