The other day I was thinking that if I ever go too long without pooing at college, I'll probably get some private time at some point in the near future to relieve myself. So the problem WILL frustrate me daily and sometimes make me feel sick (if I haven't gone in a while), but it won't last for too long, ya know? However, during a camping retreat I went on with an organization I'm in, I couldn't go all weekend. By Saturday night I knew I had to go because my abdomen was protruding, I wasn't hungry all day, and I had bad gas. Those are all typical signs in my body when I haven't had a BM but I need to. So I went to the bathroom outside the main building where everyone gathered and tried SO HARD to go, but couldn't. I pushed and pushed and I KNEW I had plenty of poo inside me, but nothing happened. I had to wait until I got home and no one was around to go. Yes, I eventually pooped. But staying all weekend at the camp was very hard and barely enjoyable. Like I said, the routine, even if it worked here at college (which it hasn't yet, I try to eat a lot of fiber-rich cereal, but there is no consistent time of day that I poo), it will not work when I travel or visit or go anywhere besides my room. That's what I hate. But I will try to think about it less by staying out more. I think that will help. What has REALLY helped me so far is telling people. I have told a few of my friends and my girlfriend, and they're (girlfriend especially) super supportive and helpful.
