I am very glad I have found this website and knowing it IS an actual problem! At my house, I'm fine unless I have company over and it is possible for them to know. In school, I cannot go at all (mind this is only pacropresis) I cannot urinate in a urinal in public, which doesn't bother me. However, the #2 situation is horrible! Everyday I have to go, sometimes really bad, and I have to wait it out. I have to wait until I go home and then I don't have the urge or more precisely, the urge doesn't come through. My colon or whatever grumbles when I have to go and I hold it; it's like when your stomach grumbles meaning people can hear it!! inSometimes, it can really be debilitating! One time, I went to a conference in Atlanta for 4 days. We stayed in a hotel, the guys to one room, the ladies to another. I had to hold it until I had the chance while everyone in my room went to the pool. And in the airport, I went to the bathroom to try and there were so many people (Just imagine Atlanta airport). So I had to wait until I got to NY!!!About 5-7 hours!!It was horrible!! And now I've been really constipated and I'm afraid I MAY MAKE MYSELF SICK!!
I would greatly appreciate hearing some advice or about what serious consequences can occur from this condition. The main problem though is going in school. It's just hard and it sounds pathetic, but it really is. It's almost entirely a social thing. Good Luck w/ your situations!!
