Hey Kami, welcome to the site. Who says the college years are supposed to be the best of your life? Phooey. It sounds like you've had some good times, regardless, and this problem won't remove those memories. Are you still in school? When I was an undergrad a few years ago, during my stint in the dorm my solution was to find secluded bathrooms on campus that felt "safe." It was easier to go there than in the dorm bathrooms. Seek out a private place! Also, assuming you begin working when you finish, it won't be long before you can afford to rent a place for yourself, I hope. Once I was able to do that, my quality of life improved a great deal (at least with regard to bowel movements and feeling well physically). Unfortunately, my problem worsened and my requirements for privacy became more stringent over the years, and so at present I feel like I'm in limbo until I have the financial means to rent a place that feels more private. So right now I also do not feel well physically and it's tempting to feel like my time is being "wasted." But I am focused on goals and looking towards the future when circumstances will improve, and I hope you can do the same.
