Married and still can’t go to the loo if husband home

I have been married for 2 yrs and known my husband for 3. I’ve only recently been able to tell him of my problem. At first he would say he would go out and leave me to get on with it but it doesn’t work like that. My mind won’t let me go because he will know I’m doing it. I’ve told him it is all in my mind and but I wasn’t sure to be honest until I googled yesterday and found there is actually a name for it! I am so relieved I’m not the only one. I’m going to send the link to my husband today whilst he’s at work . I hope to get over this one day. We have even just bought a house with a secluded toilet in it just for me. Can’t wait to move in it soon. At the moment I take laxatives wed and thurs nights as thur and Friday I’m at home alone. The rest of the week I don’t go and my mind says I don’t need to when really I do. It’s ruining my life. Holidays are a nightmare. And the wind that’s caused by it can be so uncomfortable especially at dawn when still in bed with my husband. If it’s smelly I have to creep out to the spare room. We have not had sex for over a year because of it. I’ve even had a colonoscopy recently ( imagine the embarrassment ) only to find no reason. I hope there is something to ease my twilight years with my lovely patient new husband ( we are 60). Thanks for reading this and good luck to us all xx
