I have had trouble all my life with details. I can learn anything, but I have to take in the details slowly. Once they are in, I have the same speed as anyone else.
I can't stand to do practical things, like get a car fixed at a garage, because there will be detail A and detail B and detail C and - could you repeat that again?
If someone else is there there say a and b and c - details and details.

If you give me a class a work and it takes an hour then I'm fine. If it takes longer, I lose all the details.

I hated history and english literature and verbal courses in college because there was so much detail. I didn't have trouble understanding anything. It just took too long to take it in and memorize it.

I like the subject but couldn't take it in fast enough.
